Angie Serricchio was born in Argentina and earned her juris doctor degree from the Facultad de Derecho (school of law) of Universidad de Buenos Aires (Buenos Aires University). She worked over 10 years as the company secretary and head of corporate governance for the holding company of Grupo Roberts (Roberts Group), today “HSBC Argentina”.
When Angie’s family moved to Mexico City, she left behind her attorney profession and became a stay-home mom. This impasse in her career offered her the opportunity to explore other interests, like the study of the English language, and her love for painting.
She resumed her legal career after moving to the United States in 2000 and obtained a Paralegal Certificate from the ABA approved paralegal program at Pasadena City College. Angie worked in various areas of law, including bankruptcy law, personal injury, and estate planning.
Angie joined Kanowsky & Associates in 2012 and has become the firm’s liaison with our Hispanic clients. Her legal background and communication skills provide the best atmosphere for people who prefer discussing legal issues in their native language
